Conflict is a natural part of life. When ever two individuals disagree there is conflict. Sometimes when disagreement is of strongly held views convictions or interests, conflict can escalate out of control. Harmonyic teaches that conflict is not bad. In fact it is good and healthy when used constructively.

Levels of Conflict

At its most basic level conflict is about a disagreement but this can escalate through five levels to the point at which each combatant is so unwilling to lose the battle that they would rather destroy the organisation!

We offer three sets of resources.

  1. For individuals or teams looking to work together, we can help them understand one another through a style profile. This can be part of team training or on its own.
  2. As part of LETGO, we offer a training event called ‘Learning to Get on Together’ to enable organisations of any size understand how to manage conflict and decision-making. To find out more download our LTGOT leaflet.
  3. When the conflict gets out of hand, organisations need outside mediation. There is a temptation to keep this ‘in house’ or to go for a low key option of an outside ‘friend’. Experience shows neither of these routes work. In fact they can make matters worse, not least by not solving the problem AND discrediting the process of mediation. Harmonyic works to provide trained mediators to work with the organisation . To find out more, go to Mediation or  download the Mediation leaflet.
